WORKER'S COMPENSATION

If you have been injured on the job, you have three basic rights:

Temporary medical benefits
Temporary compensation benefits
Permanent compensation benefits

Most employers advise their workers about temporary medical and compensation benefits, but usually injured workers are not told that they have a right to a lump sum permanency award based on the significance of their on the job injury.

The cost of worker's compensation insurance is automatically deducted from your weekly pay. It is your right to make a full claim under that insurance coverage when you are injured on the job.

We will help you obtain a permanency award. You will pay only part of the total 20% fee that is charged. The insurance company actually pays much of our fee. You will not owe us anything, if for some reason we are not able to recover for you.

If you are not receiving proper medical care, we will work with the insurance company to see that the right care is obtained, or we will immediately go into court to get you the proper care.

We will help secure second opinions for you.
If you have any problems obtaining temporary benefits while you are injured, we will pressure the insurance company to pay you what you are due, or we will immediately go into court and obtain for you what is rightfully yours.

You also may have an additional claim, known as a "third party" case. In addition to making a claim under comp insurance, you may have a claim against another person or entity, other than your employer or co-employees, that was responsible for your injury. Often, this claim has greater economic value than your worker's compensation claim.

Please call us immediately to discuss your case.
