| RETALIATION
When
an employer violates a public policy in retaliating against you,
or retaliates against you for acting in accordance with a compelling
public policy, your employer violates the law. Examples of retaliation
include demotion, harassment, non-promotion and poor reviews.
In addition to violations of the CEPA act, some forms of retaliation
are actionable under common law, such as retaliation for filing
worker's compensation claims.
