FAMILY LEAVE ACT

 
Family leave is allowed under both and Federal and State Laws. There are some differences between the acts, for example that the Federal Law allows for leave for your own serious medical condition while the state law does not. Both laws protect against retaliation or the lack of job protection and allow for the collection of damages and attorney's fees.
